Each design is handcrafted by Alena Kormanik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alena is originally from the Czech Republic, where she studied journalism but she always had a passion for art. Alena has been making jewellery since her early teen years. She fell in love with pottery after a brief period working as an art and pottery teacher. She is fascinated by the unique variables and the neverending possibilities implemented in combining different materials and techniques. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alena\u00b4s jewellery are all unique. She\u00b4s proficient in low and high firing porcelain and ceramics. She\u00b4s also dabbled in Raku firing and Alena keeps her skills sharp with a homebuilt kiln that she uses for wood firing. She\u00b4s always keen to learn new techniques and experiment with new materials to further her craft.
